This is Me

    Hello. I am Mami Harada. I am from Amami, Kagoshima. I had been doing kendo for about 10 years. It is been a year and a half since I met you guys first time. I think you already know a little bit about my background. So, I finish my introduction about my upbringing. So what do I want you to know? That is part of my personality, such as my way of thinking.

    I have a dream. It is not an occupation. My dream is to work in my hometown. This has not changed since I was in elementary school. Rather, this feeling is stronger now. I have been very shy since I was little. Even so, I had people who always talked to me when I went to and from school. I had a lot of opportunities to get involved with people of all generations. I love that kind of environment. I love the villagers who create this kind of environment. It became my dream because I wanted to raise my child in this village if I had a baby someday. No one can beat me a feeling of love for my hometown.

    This is me. I love my hometown and the people who live in it. I hope you will visit my hometown someday. By the way, do you know where my hometown is? Yes! My hometown is Amami island, an island of World Heritage sites.

    I thought it was so good that you were talking about your personality and way of thinking. From your self-introduction, I can feel that you like your hometown very much. I was glad to know about your dream. I think Amami is so nice place, so I want to go there someday.

    I thought it was very good that you wrote with a focus on your hometown. The love for your hometown has been transmitted. Also, I thought your dream and the environment in which you grew up are so wonderful. I would like to visit your beloved hometown, Amami someday!

    I could feel the charm of Amami Island well by reading your blog. I think it's great to live in a city with strong ties among the local people. I would like to visit Amami Island someday and actually feel the charm of the place.

Report of the presentations 2~group1~         The number second  person in my last group was Mayuko Nishi. She was talking about Ryukyu. It is Oita prefecture's traditional fish food. I thought it was interesting to talk about her hometown's food. I have never heard of it before, so I want to eat it.     The number third person in my last group was     Rina Aoki.
